The latest on renovations

1st weekend of renovations (originally posted 8/31/10)

Hello!  So this weekend, some friends and I traveled to Pirate Shack on Carolina Beach and started the demo and renovations.  We completed most of the painting of the main rooms and the first coat on both bedrooms.  We tore out the vanitys in both bedrooms and cleaned out the storage units.  Lots of “stuff” just everywhere.  All I kept saying all weekend was that I was so ready for the flooring to be installed.  I can’t wait, it’s going to open it up so much.  Over the weekend we ate at Michael’s Seafood right as you come across the bridge…damn, it was good! :)

My First Pirate Shack Blog (posted 8/16/10)

This is my first post of the Pirate Shack blog.  I’ve bought a condo at Carolina Beach and start renovations this weekend to make it a little piece of heaven in North Carolina.  A place to get away, lay back and hear the ocean as much as possible.  More to come later!
